Art is an Itch
—an urgent, immediate impulse that demands attention. It beckons me where my hands alone cannot reach, compelling me to pick up a pen, a brush, a pencil, and delve into creation. My chosen realms are the boundless territories of imagination and time.
In the vast landscapes of my mind, every moment is ephemeral, every event a temporal spectacle. With each stroke, I embark on a quest to encapsulate the entire spectrum of a timeline, from its genesis to its culmination. My process resembles a scramble—a frenetic dance that traverses the fluidity of time, from inception to completion. My journal stands as a testament to this relentless pursuit—a sanctuary where memories are preserved through the intimate act of drawing. Each page is a snapshot, each line a whispered echo of the moments that have been lived and immortalized in graphite, ink, and bursts of color. Even within my paintings, there resonates an essence of urgency, a fervent desire to capture the essence of fleeting moments. It is within the realm of calligraphy that my thoughts find solace and discipline. Here, I meticulously attend to mark making, angles, movement, and space, seeking precision amidst the chaos of creation. In this art form, my thoughts simmer down and find reins in my mind, allowing for a deeper exploration of clarity and intention.
My Journal
My journal sits beside me like a trusted companion, as essential as my favorite jacket that I wouldn’t dare leave home without. It’s been my faithful sidekick during long waits at bus stops, in bustling airports, and as I’ve explored new cities. Within its pages, my emotions dance alongside my reflections on time and space. It’s a treasure trove of memories, a jar of memories, preserved with scratches, splashes and strokes —a visual testament to my journey.
Countless conversations have sparked from its worn pages, with strangers-turned-friends offering feedback and comments as I work. Sometimes, I’ve even torn out pieces of my art to gift to those whose paths have crossed mine, maintaining connections through the vast web of the internet.
This journal is my sanctuary, a safe space where creativity flows freely. I extend an open invitation for you to experience its magic. If it ignites inspiration in anyone, it would be the greatest honor, a badge I’d proudly wear.

My Paintings
My paintings offer a reflection of my initial experiences in Morocco. Among them, some depict the landscapes I traversed during my daily walks in Ifrane from the university to my residence, encapsulating the distinct moods and emotions I encountered, particularly considering my prolonged separation from my family.
Originating from a region characterized by brief and mild winters, the cold climate and desolate streets I encountered while journeying home initiated my first dialogue with the land and its environment. These moments of solitude amid the chilly streets left a lasting impression, profoundly shaping my perception and connection to Ifrane’s unique atmosphere and rhythms.

My Calligraphy and Calligrams
My calligram draws inspiration from the poetry of Mirza Asadullah Khan Ghalib, one of the most esteemed poets from the Subcontinent (now Pakistan and India). While it does not directly mirror his verses, the calligram serves as an inviting gateway for the reader, enticing them into the rich tapestry of his literary world.
